About The Role

The Queer Muslim Project is looking for a Program Associate to help hold, shape, and bring our programmes to life. This role sits at the heart of our work, supporting the planning, coordination, and care that allow artists, writers, filmmakers, and cultural workers to gather, learn, and create together.

Working closely with the Programs Lead, you’ll support programme design, logistics, communication, documentation, and learning across multiple initiatives. We’re looking for someone who enjoys making complex things run smoothly, values both details and relationships, and is curious about narrative change – with the desire to grow into deeper programmatic leadership over time.

Location: India (Remote / Hybrid)
Type: Full-time

What You'll Do

Support & Run Programmes

    • Support the day-to-day planning and delivery of TQMP programmes – including scheduling, coordination, and communication with participants, facilitators, partners, and consultants.
    • Help translate programme ideas into workable plans, timelines, and systems that reflect TQMP’s values and capacity.
    • Assist with end-to-end programme delivery, ensuring things move with clarity, care, and intention.
    • Support meeting preparation and facilitation, including agendas, notes, and follow-ups.

Hold Systems, Details & Documentation

    • Maintain shared programme records, workflows, and internal documentation so work stays accessible and organised.
    • Support reporting processes by drafting inputs, tracking timelines, and coordinating with partners as needed.
    • Assist with programme budget tracking – including expense logs, invoices, and reimbursements – in collaboration with the Programs Lead.

Community Care & Alumni Engagement

    • Support relationship-building with prospective, current, and past programme participants.
    • Help nurture alumni engagement across TQMP’s network, keeping communication warm, clear, and responsive.
    • Assist with outreach and community-facing activities connected to programmes.

Learning, Feedback & Reflection

    • Coordinate programme feedback collection across initiatives.
    • Support the organisation of reflections, learnings, and participant insights.
    • Work with the team (and external consultants, when needed) to strengthen feedback loops and learning practices.
    • Help document what we’re learning so it can meaningfully inform future programme design.

Who This Role Is For

    • You have 2-4 years of experience supporting programmes, projects, or community-based initiatives.
    • You enjoy operational work and understand how good systems enable creative, people-centred work.
    • You’re organised, attentive to detail, and comfortable holding multiple priorities at once.
    • You communicate clearly and thoughtfully in English, especially in writing.
    • You have a basic understanding of budget tracking and administrative processes.
    • You’re curious about narrative change and how programmes can build collective power over time.
    • Experience with facilitation or MEAL processes is a plus, but not required.

Monetary Compensation (Monthly):
